I have been enlightened by urban

I have been enlightened… Skied my first couple of days/nights of urban this week and holy shit the buzz of sessioning a rail with the boys under the glow of street lights is unreal. The audio and tactile sensations of the skis sliding and slapping concrete stairs and chipped paint handrails creates quite the immaculate feeling. Coupled with the little bit of angst whether you will get kicked out makes for quite the adrenaline high. Really hoping some more snow rolls through town again this year

But I agree, urban skiing/filming is an entirely different experience and it's so much more rewarding.

Dude I got the bug too if only it would fucking dump in the valley. Legit bone dry for snow out here and I see spots all the time.

Same dude. Hit my first true street spot last weekend. It was a pretty aggressive dfd. Went to the spot thinking I wasn’t even gonna try it but ended up stomping it. Haven’t felt that good skiing in a minute!

I've been hitting a lot more street this season, just love going out and building a little jib in the park. Feels cooler than skiing park and it's way safer than backcountry

Just found out this spots 3 min from my house…should I try it?

yes yes and yes

park skiing is like eating a sandwich. Street skiing is like going to the store, buying the ingredients, making the sandwich, then eating it. Very rewarding 10/10 highly recommend.
