just weighed my 178 anthems each ski weighs 9 pounds with binding, so the pair + bindings weighs 18 pounds.

your pair of skis weighs 14 pound or each ski?
 
you are either making fun, have a terrible scale, or are using 30 din world cup bindings, I can't tell which.

Thread maker: average or on the heavier side for park skis at only 171. Look P/PX bindings are far from light and Chronics are not the lightest either. you will be fine though. My setup is 181 Pipe Cleaners with Tyrolia Peak 15s, about 13lbs/pair, so on the lighter side of skis that long with 15 din bindings.
 
Weight really only matters when they're on your shoulder IMO. Don't worry about it, you can still spin heavy skis.
 
ight thnkx for all ur help im buys a good pair of skis and bindins just not goin insain cause im only 15 so ill grow out of um soon anyway so i just wanted a ski that wasnt a brick and im hopefully getting my skis friday or monday so yea and my bindings might be the same so i dont no how they feel but i was skiing on rental skis so that cant be to far off that
 
and plus thats not even exact weight thats just specs off the sights i got um from so dont think they really weight that cause rei.com were i got my skis have 171,176,and 181 so may be average weight of um and geartalk.com says the bindings weight like 5 lb 11 oz so i dont no if that exactly the correct weight
