I have a predicament, I need help

Hokay, so I'm going on a 5 day fishing trip to canada this summer, at a place where they dont really care if you drink because you need to boat in to get to the lodge, where there is a bar, and I would be served alcohol, and my dad doesnt care if I drink. Well this sounds downright dandy, but I just found out that there is a day at summerfest where they have both shiny toy guns and OAR playing for general admission. I am not sure if I have a choice in the matter, but maybe I do, which would you choose?
 
the fishing trip, and not because of the drinking, but because the fishing in canada is awesome. where in canada would you be going? i went salmon flyfishing in labrador and it was amazing. plus i don't listen to either one of those bands you could go see.

hokay. shiny toy guns are fucking horrible. they have that one really cool le disko song, and i made the horrible mistake of buying their cd based on that song being cool. i went to an oar concert in highschool and it was kinda fun, but you'll realize that oar isn't really that cool. that concert would be retarded. go fishing in canada for a week. that's a badass experience you'll remember for the rest of your life.
 
canada, definitely, and not even because of the drinking. yeah, that would be cool, but spend time with your parents while you can, you know? those memories will be much more valuble when youre older, instead of some concert you went to.

 
is it fly fishing? If not, go to the concert. If it is, you're a fool for doubting the amazingness of a fly-fishing trip to Canada.
 
fishing from a boat is more enjoyable because you can ride all around the water, fish in many different spots, or just relax and kick it on the boat to have a drink
 
Fly fishing can be from a boat...

bait fishing or spinning is just so godam boring - any hick that has a stream through their trailer park can hook up a worm and catch a fish, but it takes skill to fly fish.
 
That last part is a bit harsh, but yes, You can fly fish from a boat - I don't see why this was in question.

Go fishing dude, go have some fun with your dad, catch some fish, and have some beers.
 
I'm fishing at totem lodge in lake of the woods. The only reason I wanted to go to the concert is a bunch of my friends are going to the concert, and last time I went to an OAR concert, they pretty much hotboxed the outdoor concert area
 
Duh you can drink booze !!!!!! go to canada haha. poor youngin. spend some time with your pops before you're old and move out.
 
Hell yeah fishing. And the reason only to go for alcohol is just really childish! Fishing in a beautiful scenery is so amazing!
 
well no im not saying alcohol is the only reason, but being drunk with my dad and uncle will definetly be an added bonus
 
Zima? LOL My first taste of that was when my mom said "here try this" at the age of 7. I thought it was 7-up in a nifty glass bottle until I read the label.

Zima and fishing go together like cowboys driving rice rockets.
 
the bands will come around next summer or the one after that, who knows when you are gonna have a chance to go to a fly in only fishing spot.

one of our family friends cottage is out there.

they come out to ours for a week or so...

and they invite us to theirs.

so i'll be there for a bit. haha.
 
Yeah, both shiny toy guns and OAR will be around for awhile, you can see them some other time. A fishing trip to Canada though would be so tight though
 
holy shit i went to labador too for flyfishing, but it was on lake burke for brook trout! such a fun trip i would go again in a heartbeat!
