First time behind the decks in 3 years so much excitement went into this one. Also first time using anything but vinyl and just amazed at the ease involved. This was recorded with the Livid Ohm using Traktor Scratch Pro. Give it a listen ... or not because that's cool, too.

This was definitely different musical direction than I'm used to myself. Glad you dig it. Over the next few weeks, I'll slowly add mixes of other genres.

The setup ... hoping to add more eventually...

Still with Moment but not skiing as much this summer ... preparing for burning man and have a ton of shit to get done in the next couple weeks. Bringing out a 50,000-watt system to cover 20,000 sq feet. Am certainly be looking forward to getting after it this winter though. Last season was a dud for me since I was too busy with other things.

I'm putting together my second mix right now and I'm using a Numark NV with Serato. I'm not the best at it, but it's super fun and I'm enjoying getting better.

Right on! It's a lot of fun getting into it. The mixing will come with time. Music selection is FAR more important. When you get to playing out or at friends' parties, there's usually only one or two dorks that give a shit about beatmatching and transitions. Everyone else just wants to get down and doesn't care about anything but solid beats.
 
Went to Burning Man for the first time last month and had a chance to play on one of the best sound systems in the world (no exaggeration).

This is easily the best mix I've put together and is full of super heavy bass music (progressive breaks and grimey house):
