as prideful as it seems, it is dumping snow outside my window and im going skiing tommorow. it will be prolly 6-8 inches of pow over 11 inches two days ago. I know this doesnt seem much compared to like Utah or CO pow, but its big for us. Now my problem, as much as i wanna ski pow, i wanna practice in the park for this rail jam that im hopin to enter. They re-did the park with some new features. The question: to ski or not to ski powder and be a park rat. Thx for the wisdom guys

powder...

and its way more than those damn mountains in colorado. even mt. spokane has pretty much more snow than any ski area in utah or colorado. seize it

how often do you get pow, cause if i ever got pow around here id be there all day, so ski at least some pow for all us east coasters that never see it

kk ill ski the pow for u east coasters. the rail jam isnt till the 27th but i need to practice. good call. powder till it gets tracked, then park

global warming isnt what sucks. what sucks is that u guys on the east coast are getting all the storm movements from the west coast that move in the wind pattern called the prevailing westerlies. i actually just learned this today. see, that forecast has to carry over all they way across the country.so when it gets to you, there isnt much left except for your high mts. i think i explained that right, just move to utah

i would say from past experiences that the rails in your park will probablly be really shitty and un-hittable for skiers, or at least thats how our park is on deep pow days.
