I have a big phone problem

and i need your help i have the zerizon VX8300 andt on something called car kit , my phone makes no noise when i call i cant hear them and they cant here me anyone know what to do

its called: call verizon, complain, and get a new phone shipped to you. ive gone througg 5 LG phones, which is really fucking annoying but they give them to me for free now cuz ive had so many. but my plan is up soon so ill just buy a good one for less
 
your screwed, sorry dude..... this has happened to one of my friends and my dad, and both of them had to get new phones......

it is some problem with the software(according to what one of the verizon employees told me)
 
if you flip open the phone and it doesnt light up press the on button.

if you talk into the phone and here nothing call your mom and see if it works then.

if that doesnt work get a new one.
 
I have had this problem with Verizon phones before, it happened when I was playing lacrosse in the rain and the battery got wet. "Car kit" is an error which pops up when there is corrosion on the battery terminals, but it can be fixed, the phone thinks that there is a headset or wireless device attatched to the phone when there isn't. I have the same phone as you but this problem happened on my last Verizon LG phone. Options are to try and dry the phone, remove the battery, power it on and off, or going into the "command prompt" and more or less "hacking" your phone. I tried the last option and it worked. It isnt really "hacking" really just accessing a hidden menu. Try searching "Verizon LG8300 Car Kit Mode" and you should get some helpful answers on some phone forums. Good luck.
 
i got it fixed today were u plug in the charger u got to fiddle in there with a toothpick or a paperclip something long and skinny thatnks for the help
