i have been talking to a guy that is selling a hvx200 for 2500 with 2 p2 cards 8gb and 2 batteries. Im 16 and thats alot of money but i film quite often. pretty much every weekend but my question is, should i buy that hvx200 or go with an hmc40 because im not anywhere near a professional filmer yet, the camera i have now is the canon hf100. I would just like to see what your inputs are before i go ahead on this buy
 
Buy the HVX

realize it's too much camera

trade me temporarily for my DVC30, its a great learning camera

no i dont but i have been reading many articles on it and i would learn about it.

i guess here is the question now..

i have a canon hf100

would it be worth it to upgrade for the hmc40?
 
reading does help a lot, I have learned a ton of shit from just reading countless articles and websites/forums. You can always go to http://dvxuser.com and read about stuff there, its probably pretty advanced but hearing the lingo tossed around helps school you, just don't mention where you are getting the deal or post anything about it, because someone will find it and snatch it up.
