When i buy a laptop for school, its no doubt going to be a MAC.

so tell me this, when i right click on a menu bar to close a window, why does the tab get stuck and stay there? it wont go away, ever.

the computer operates fine with it like that. i can even click through the obstruction if i have enough tasks open and the menu bars reach all the way over there. wtf windows.
 
i cleared everything a few minutes before. and it happens a lot, this isnt the first time. i have to restart to get it to go away.

 
no fuck apple, all the new software ruins my ipod, it seems like every update it gets worse, now my comp wont even recognize it when i plug it in, and when it does it stalls and shit
 
the key to computers, ive found, (pc or mac) is having a friend who plays WoW 24/7. that way when you have a problem, he can just come over to your house and fiz it. problem solved
 
fuck macs. its all propaganda. macs are like toys; completely useless. windows are powerful, operational machines. everyone in the real it world knows this.
 
same happens to me with firefox. it happens when a video (such as youtube) or a flash something is playing. maybe the ad is screwing it up? anyway, it's really annoying. the fix is to load google or something in that tab to stop it from playing. then it should close itself. if you ever find a fix please tell me.
 
i was considering getting a mac once, then i considered my sexuality and realised i wasnt gay, so i didnt get a mac
 
im typing on my mac right now and i once was used windows until i realized that it sucked. and it works perfectly with my ipod. 

when you go mac you dont go back 
 
i have a windows pc. its worked great for like 2.5 years, then just now it started slowing down a lot, im not sure why. ive done everything i can think of (virus scan, adware scan, etc). i thinnk my next laptop will be a mac.

thats the dummest thing ever, why would you switch from firefox to ie, swith from IE to FIRFOX is the way to go, better tabbig OWNS
 
GET MORE RAM. Less than 2gb is sub-par these days. Get an mp3 player that doesn't suck. I see you have I-tunes open. Bad decision. Makes me think you have an Ipod. Another bad decision. Get Winamp and an mp3 player that doesn't have all kinds of propriotary protection software. Then get more RAM. Flawless operation.
 
a computer can only have so much ram, a lot of computers there is no point in putting 2gb of ram because it will be unused, if you get 1.5 it should b fine
 
Pretty much true, it depends on what you do though. If you do alot of video editting, stuff like that, you need more cause you use up a ton of RAM. Same if you are big into gaming.

Get more RAM and try upgrading your firefox to see if that fixes it.
 
The problem you are having is something that is wrong with firefox, not windows. Macs run firefox so if the samething happened on a mac would you say you hate Mac's. Some people are so mindless that they are convinced that they need the retard friendly mac before they can do anything.
 
I really think that windows is hated so much, where it shouldn't be. I think its a great operating operating system. If you interested in media and arts a mac is obviously perfect. But I would prefer PC when it comes to programs, aside from no final cut pro. Otherwise, Fire Fox is bad. Try uninstalling and re-install. Then I would get more ram. 2Gb is the way to go. I would like 8 :)
 
i have 3 gigs (edit music, not video). and yea windows is great for programs and all around system compatibility, but it sucks for everything else.

yea, macs are 'retard friendly' but they also compute just as well as windows (if not better in some aspects) and can handle much larger amounts of media. mainly because everything you need is included and doesnt need to be bought after market.

but still, i can build a much more stable Mac for way less than a mediocre PC. and that is why i want a mac.
 
uhhhh for the price you would be paying you could build a much much more powerful pc than you could if you spent the same on a mac. thats not a biast opinion its a fact. and from the sounds of it your computer isnt bad at all...its just the browser thats causing that problem. i have one of the shittiest computers known to man and as long as i dont go downloading a shit load of viruses it works just fine...most people that think they need macs just need to know how to take care of a pc...
 
i have a 1 gig RAM macbook and it is so much better than any of my other 3 pcs with windows.  Its faster, it gets a WAY stonger wifi signal, ipods are so easy to use with it, it has garageband to make techno with, etc.  Macs are the way to go...plus, apple is coming out with a new laptop which is going to be sick.
 
i get apple product much cheaper then pcs. the only reason i use pcs for my home computer is cause its easier to network.
 
I gotta ask what's so geat about firefox or opera? I had always heard it was tabs, but now ie has tabs. (WHich I never use. How hard is it to go: start, internet explorer) It works perfectly, gets me to my internets.
 
i dunno if ie has it now but firefox is really easy to post photos with...right click and copy image location and just past it into some img takes and your set. the add ons are really handy too like the weather one and youtube ones and such.
