so like a month ago i get my 99 passat in amazing condition then the timing belt breaks and fucks up the whole engine. in vw's warrantee it says any engine under 100,000 miles will be replaced. we call vw and because i am the second owner they wont replace my engine so it is 7000 to replace it. on top of that you have to buy a new timing belt and water thing for the new engine when it comes in and it costs 1000 dollars for shiping costs. the 1000 can be sent back to you if vw themslves fix the broken engine that i sent to them. so overall it will cost me 8000 to replace the engine which is how much i payed for the car in the first place

Why would anyone ever buy a VW new....they are so unreliable now on the whole...obviously lots of people have them and they are fine, but on the whole, they are not reliable. If you want a reliable car, get a Japanese car...Hondas, Toyotas, etc.

'Why is it called the World Series when it's always played in the Bronx?'

Japanese cars are the way to go. They'll never let you down.

Lateralis, on his turn-ons:

'a shaved box, i dont want no fucken rain forest greeting me when i tear off those little cotton panties, id much rather have a nice gaping axe wound that is dripping with wetness while i stare at it in amazement and eat that shit like its elephant food!'

our v-dub rocks....but an engine is only good for about 20 to 30,000 miles....but its still the shit

i got stuck behind an old guy in a bug today, felt like layin on the horn.

i was going to go for a quad daffy but i was like, why huck? -mommy

i was minutes away from buying a sweet VW golf GTI, which ended up getting sold right before i got there...... mother f**kers. anyway, today i brought home a '96 impreza. w00t!

find yourself a local VW shop, instead of dealing with VW-USA. VW's have a big fanbase, there are a lot of little shops out there.
