The guys with the best style are Pollard, Mahre, Becker, and Stephan Thomas, basically a ll the guys who don't ever cross their skis and don't ever grab with two hands. It just looks so much more smooth and controlled.
 
dude thats just like a variation on a guitar or caveman. thats like renaming a mute cuz you did it 2 inches higher on your ski than last time.

octograbs are gay. skiing should NOT follow rollerblading and that contorted look is so fucking rollerblading its ridiculous. thats not style. its fucked up and it doesnt look right. some doubles look cool, some dont. just like every other aspect of skiing.
 
yeah. doubles are sexy. and alittle harder to pull off. I always get alittle more off balance with double grabs.

Because apparently, no matter how new the trick, if HE thinks it looks gay, then it actually does NOT constitute progression.

Maybe you should post a list of things that people should be allowed to perform, and then you could hand out red cards to anyone who comes up with something that you didn't approve.....

first of all Octos, Buddahs, stars look SICK AS HELL.

second......WE AREN"T SNOWBOARDERS,SKATEBOARDERS,OR WAKEBOARDERS.....we have TWO sticks straped to our feet why not use them. We are skiers, its a tail grab, not a blunt, its an Iron cross or cross, not a mute. We are GOING to have a different style then anything out there, and i think thats sick. I love to be orignial, going to the hill and have the boarders look at me funny. Im a SKIER and proud of it, and everything that is this sport. Moguls, racing, ballet, everything.

If you are ashamed of where we are going in this sport, or where we are coming from then fuck off. Buy a board, go skate, go do something else. All types of double grabs rule.

 
actually it IS a blunt, which is a specific type of tail grab, just like a mute is a specific type of cross... there is a significant difference between mute and cross. just ask j moseley
 
dude double grabs are a part of our sport now, wether you like it or not it's the thing that's seperating the good park skiers from the great, it also gives a lot of pros a chance to create a signature grab for themselves. if you can make a double grab look good, that's talent
 
j moseley can suck my chode....a Blut is just a tail....it is. There is tail, then true tail...thats it. Mute is the same thing as a cross.....just tweaked out.
 
i dunno if any of u have tried or seen octo 180s of huuge booters, but they look and feel awsome
 
i like all sorts of dub grabs, but not super wide trucks (simon) or that one that was on the cover for a while at the West coast Session.

Octos, dub japans, tj trucks (like in the seven sunny days trailer) all look sweet.
 
i disagree... double grabs r sweet, i finally got the truck driver towards the end of the season, and it was awesome
 
I just hate how everybody's body looks so contorted and stung out and Simon with his pencil straight legs. It just looks to unnatural and not smooth.

sick grabs along with guitar grabs and trucks... and i think we're leaving out Tanner Rainville's HUGE sw 9 mute to tail... tell me that didnt look sick....
