Because I skied pow all day! This is the first run of today and the season. I like powder

Both of those count. I skied rock pepped glacial shit snow in the Tetons a couple weeks ago (to complete 12 months of skiing at least once /month) and really hope Rocktober brings better conditions to Wyoming. I'm super jelly. But early snow in these parts can easily spell PERSISTENT WEAK LAYER and wreck havoc in the snowpack all season long...

In las vegas (yes we have mountains) it snowed up at our mountain on the 7th but melted the next day. Still stoked though!

The following day was quite good too

And we're expecting 30-50 cm more this week :D

Look at all that pow up there. Crazy!

I'm in this boat. But at least compared to last year's winter on the east coast theres no way this year could be any worse. I'll probably just be more selective about which days i choose to ski. quality over quantity.

I am now in Norway north.Have one day snow on top of the few highest hill, but it melts so fast. But anyway my ski season starts after 43 days and 18 hours.

Looked like you had some great pre season turns ChasingFlakes, nice one!

Ryan 1276:

We didn't get any snow from mid August til mid September. Looks like you're having a blast! Wish I had that good coverage with good terrain

finally got my 270 on back, at Trysil last weekend. First time i did it in like 2 years, stoked!

thats just all the snow on the top. the wind blew all the snow into tucks. 8 feet of solid snow pack im going up tomorrow

that was me telling you about a life i wish i was living. fuck me, right?

but sunday river should be open in a month ish realistically so thats a plus

All you who already have snow are so lucky. Here in south western PA were lucky to get the resorts open in mid-late November, if then.
