So there are pro skiers, am skiers...and then there are the "only got to film 3 days, broke my pinky, tore my labia, and didn't really try that hard, but this is what I came up with" skiers

lets hear your reasons for not getting more shots this season
 
I had an amazing season, skiing harder and getting more days than ever before, and then I realized mid april that I had filmed absolutely none of it.

Also, 6/7 of season edits on NS have that excuse.

I don't really care for season edits much at all unless it's urban which basically has to be a season edit.
 
Nah I just meant like to OP creates a thread and then doesn't offer anything to it.

For me. I just started skiing for the first time in over a decade and all my horrible footage is on a computer at the mountain. There's my excuse.

Sponsored events are pretty fun, but regulated competition gets on my nerves.

Broke my wrist in November, during wrist recovery found out i had patella tendonitis in one of my knees. Went to Whistler in March for the rest of the season. Landed on a jump and faceplanted the top of my pole. Had a fairly average season after that, but heres my edit.

got 2 surgeries, live in a state with no snow, and only started this thread as a troll experiment, so this is my edit

I started skiing December 2012; tore my acl, MCL and double menisucs tear in march 2012. Had to wait til November 2013 for surgery. Skied for the first time since last month. Still not good eenough to film. But I did do the switch at a basin.

Sean only filmed with SIMPLE. over the course of 2 nights and an afternoon. The rest of the time he was filming by himself with his Dv recorder and one or two homies. His edit was made up of about 6 days on snow this season vs Duncan Milne's, Alex CT's or Aidan McConnell's who got to film with SIMPLE. upwards of 30 days on snow, because we all go to comps together and ski together more often then we get to ski with Sean. for Sean we we're just saying that we didn't have alot of footage due to the lack of skiing we did with him.I know you had no way of knowing this I just wanted to clarify because generally it does bug me too.
