I got SCREWED!

dude, i agree with you on the whole style issue okay? I hate also that Laurent Favre never wins comps altho he may throw down the styliest shit ever. However in the case of, for example, Laurent, he usually does switch stylie as fuck 7's when the compettion is doing switch 1080s. There is only a slightly increased technical difficulty between a sw 7 and 10, whereas there is an ENORMOUS tech difficulty between a switch 180 and a misty 9. I think ever gaper out there can do a solid sw 180.

In this case, the guy who won, did switch 5, 360, switch 180. I did corked 7, 360, misty 9. Personally, I feel as I did it with enough style that I should have at LEAST podiumed. As did most of the ppl who saw the runs.

The point, in case you haven't figured it out, is that we CAN'T agree or disagree with you just by reading your complaining about it on this site. We'd have to see it. Otherwise it seems like you're suggesting that the judges didn't even have to be here, all they needed was a sheet of paper telling them what everyone threw down to figure out who should've won. Soooooo the entire premise on which this thread is based is both wrong and offensive. It hurts the idea of the freeskiing competition by making it more about competition than freeskiing.

yeah basically in this case, im saying that the judging was so bad that someone who didnt even see the comp and heard what the tricks were could come up with a better end result than what happened.

and if you wanna see, i have posted a video of a misty 7 i did in the finals. its in my video section.
