ok so sold this guy a vest for 75 dollars and he said shipping would only cost 5 dollars, but when i shipped it, it was 22 dollars 'its already shipped and the guy wont go onlineshould i be mad?

that's tough man, why'd you ship if it turned out to be so much? Maybe just wait it out till he comes back on, and ask if he'll compensate, then take if from there. But this shouldn't be in ST

Im from DC and the guy lives in WA in a wierd ass town i dont know if he wants me to tell you where he livesalso i dont wanna be a dick

thats why you make a deal in which the seller pays shipping. but yea 22 bucks for a vest is nuts. usps flat rate boxes r the way to go

the tyvek flat rate envelopes are durable, and can hold jiberish sweatshirts and only cost $8 i think. use those for in the US, and private shipping companies for outside the US

Read the thread with buying, selling, and shipping info in it. It has prices. Also, almost nothing will go entirely across the country for $5, however you must have packaged it funny. I have shipped a pair of sticks for that with Priority. Either that, or they upsold you at the post office/packaging store.

I've shipped a pair of skis from Seattle to like Indiana in a week for just over $20. Somehow I don't believe how you got reeled so hard.

Did you not use a flat rate box?
