today i was skiing and i was at the top of the hill and i guess i had a gap between my hat and goggles so some kid with NS stickers all over his helmet said "nice gaper gap faggot." i really had no idea that, that gap was such a huge deal. i also thought the people of NS were a little more chill and easy going and fun than that! thats just ridiculous or at least i think so!
 
the gap is kinda gaper-esque but that comment was unnecessary. some people should just keep their mouths shut. i personally would probably have hinted at you "you're going to get hated on for that gap" haha, instead of actually hating on you for it.
 
i had a gap on monday, i left my phenoms at home on accident and had to rock my dads old shitty scott goggles than dont go under my helmet like my phenoms do. lame.
nobody said anything but i was sweatin it.
on a side note, today some snowboarders were doing that sideways slide thing they do through an ungroomed run on a powder day, i yelled "why dont ya make some turns ya fuckin gapers" from the chair, cause my dad told me too haha. they flipped me off.
 
who gives a shit if theres a gap?

I see this two ways.

1. you're gay for even giving it a second thought

2. the kid who made fun of you is gay for even pointing it out

In the end, both of you are gay.
 
I hate to sound like a dick, but who gives a fuck what other people think about you... obviously this kid is insecure or something, so he has to go around to people and point out their "gaper-ness", even if you aren't a gaper. Well, next time you see him, confront him and be like "dog, that's hella greezy" or point out his highwater pants or something, I don't care. Anyway, what I'm trying to get across to you is that if he's going out of his way to be a d-bag, then let him be... karma'll get him sooner or later.
 
same thing happened to me last night, they kept the slope open a hour longer than normal so when i got to the hill to watch the fire works and chill with friends i put my ski shit on but did not have my snow pants and was wearing jeans so some kid called me a gapper and then i pulled a 3 iron cross in the pipe and he then tried to do it, and fell on his face so i laughed at him
 
Meh, don't worry about it, it's stupid to worry about what some random kid thinks. Who gives a fuck if some kid is hating on you, it's easier just to let it slide than to get all worried about it. Don't change yourself to pander to someone else's agenda, do what you want, and change yourself if you want to.
 
shouldve stabbed him with your pole. its funny hearing people get mad at other people. for example, on the occasion i ride without poles and people love to hate on it
 
I thought having a gaper gap was the cool trendy thing to do with you kids nowadays.

I've seen a lot of comps with guys having gaper gaps.
 
who cares man, he was obviously a fag for even thinking about saying that to you. any skier with half a brain knows that people have different outerwear styles and they should only care about their own. like dr. dre once said, "all you mothafuckin haters out there can suck my mothafuckin dick."
 
Its not really by definition a gaper gap if you have a hat on under your helmet. Its only a gaper gap if your hair is pouring out.
 
its not that big of a deal but i ski at 7 springs what color outerwear was the kid wearing i bet i can tell you who it was.
 
I was skiing the other day, and conditions were warm so i was just wearing a blue sweatshirt. I was in line to hit a dfd box. Some kid said, hey after that kid goes it's all you "abercrombie" all condescending and shit, jokes on him though, it was american eagle.
 
Don't feel bad. Lenworthy rocks it in the beginning of his KoS edit. So unless that kid is better than Kenworthy, his opinion matters not.
 
im not really worried about it but it was like bright green and tan with tan pants i think? it really doesnt matter who it is its not like im going to hunt him down or something
 
shoulda hauled ass, hunted the kid down, pulled his goggles down over his nose and said

"Nice gaper gap, motherfucker"

and then continued to beat him sensless
 
fuck, i rock snow jeans and an 80s ski sweater most of the time.

gaper steeze is pretty legit if you can pull it off. unless it's a pow day i rarely wear my actual snow gear.

"Get the fuck out of the terrain park"

I then go and 180 steezily, a medium kicker, he goes and does the sketchiest 50-50 ive ever seen.

When i got to the bottom I thot to myself WTF.
 
the kid was probably super insecure because he sucked at skiing but dressed like he was good so he had to put you down, sounds like a douchebag and not your typical ns'er
