To people that say they shop at the salvation army because it is cheap and original. Think about what you just said for a second. You just bought something that had already been used, therefore it is not original.

I really don't care if people where hollister, its a fairly cheap way to look trendy. I don't own any of it, but alot of my freinds own nothing but it. Do i judge them because of what clothes they have...NO

no its pretty original. I have NEVER seen anybody else wear any of the 10-15 shirts i have from there, because they are all regional shirts, or just shirts that are one of a kind. And I am definitely not a hipster, i just like cheap clothes that are unique, and i like to practice a hobby that doesn't contribute to excesive waste, doesn't contribute to sweatshop labor, AND gives back to the local community. Its a good place.

must have been on sale cus cheapest is 15.50 now, that is like how much polos cost at Kohls or Marshalls or Ross, and even cheaper at Walmart. I don't think that wearing Hollister is a bad thing, but people who said it was well-priced are crazy, they cost a ton for a product that is the same as what you can get other places.

The whole brand Hollister revolves around that fake California image, regardless of what individual shirts happen to have on them.

I never said I shop at the Salvation Army, but if I wanted clothes that looked used I'd go there instead of buying new clothes from Hollister or Abercrombie that are made to look worn. But regardless I have about 100x more respect for someone shopping at Salvation or Goodwill then someone browsing the local Hollister. They're putting money to a good cause and using clothes that are still perfectly good for the most part. I actually should start shopping there, I'd rather put money to charity than to business executives who exploit 3rd world workers. That "quality" Hollister shirt of yours probably cost pennies on the dollar to make.

And just because you aren't pouring out mommy and daddy's bank account on $200 jeans doesn't mean you wear $10 jeans either.
 
by the way to anybody even attempting to defend hollister's jeans, I have never seen a pair hold up to more than 5-10 washes, they are some of the most cheaply made jeans I've ever laid eyes on. If you want to get affordable jeans that look good and won't fall apart get some levi's. they look better too because they come in more styles than just loose boot cut.
