I fucking hate where I live, help me decide where to transfer

I fucking hate this place, and need to get out.

pretty much my only criteria Is that theres a good school, Its not in the middle of a fucking desert, and skiings within an hour away.
 
Boulder, right fucking now. Boulder High school, CU, Eldora is literally 20 minutes away, and for an hour on I-70 you can hit up vail, winter park, aspen, copper etc.. Seriously boulder.

It takes me 2.5 hours to ski at a hill with 20 runs and 45 minutes to get to a hill with 4 runs and I never complain. I know people who drive about 4 hours to get to the hill, an hour is not bad.

Im currently in SLC which Im sure is going to be dope as fuck for skiing, its just that every other aspect of it has me wanting to leave as soon as I can right now
 
and I know that Im extremely lucky to get to go to school here, but Ive got my own reasons for wanting out and no name calling over the internet is going to change the way I feel.
 
I live in missoula and Bozeman is dope as fuck, bridger literally 15 minutes away with great terrain and moonlight/ bigsky is 1 hour away

It took you half of the current thread just to tell us where you currently live.
Why don't you start out by telling us WHAT exactly you don't like about where you live, and what you do for school.
That will infinitely help us narrow down more relevant places, and reduce the amount of blind biased "MOVE HERE CUZ I BEEN THERE/LIVE THERE" responses..
 
Salt Lake is fuckin Sick. Im a freshman at Westminster this year, and the vibe is super chill, everyone is stoaked for the season. Look into it.
 
nobody should ever come to bozeman, its really icky. Theres no positive redeeming qualities at all. I recommend he go somewhere else like boulder, missoula, stuff like that.

I like where you are going with those two posts, BUT who would you rather move here. The fellow skier or hick/frat/jock/insertcliche guy?
 
thats how i felt my first semester of freshmen year. give it some time, salt lake is what you make of it. theres a great music scene, good coffee shops, the best outdoor recreation summer or winter, and dank nugget. if your having trouble making friends, well shit theres a lot of newschoolers in slc that are only a pm away, including me.

if you just can't get around the morman scene and the weird liquor laws and all you really wanna do is party, then go boulder.

why so you can wear a yellow and purple flannel shirt, listen to grunge, drink over priced coffee, and circle jerk at football games?

not to mention the 300 glorious gray days per year.
