I fucking hate my roomate

so its 1 in the morning here. i have a huuge test tomorrow, i just got back from studying, and my fucking roomate is in the room stoned as hell with his annoying ass friends screaming about halo thats blasting on the tv. i need to get to bed now, but he wont take the hint. on top of this (which happens all the fucking time), hes got a few other things he does that pisses me off:

1. i brought a couch into our room. payed for it with my money. this kid sleeps on it every night, and he NEVER asked me if i was ok with it. i think its gross as fuck and just a little weird seeing as he has a bed across the room.

2. hes really socially awkward. he cant talk to girls. if i bring anyone back, girls or not, he trys to win the conversation and just ends up mumbling and talking too much and making awkward silences

3. he a hardcore republican. mccain supporter, racist jokes, the whole 9 yards. im a democrat, and im ok with republicans, but hes always pushing his views on me and shit.

4. the way he talks pisses me off. idk how to describe it, but chris can vouch for it. he mumbles all the time, has this low raspy voice, and swears to the point where its inappropriate, which is kind of hard to do being a college kid.

5. he never leaves me alone when i tell him i need to go to bed early or study or something. told him i was coming back around 12-1 and going to bed, so he said hed be in someone elses room. yeah, ok dude.

6. hes always bringing his hick ass redneck, timberland wearing, carhartt loving friends in here, who usually drive here drunk (im REALLY against drunk driving) and come in and fuck my shit up.

7. hes a MESS. he takes off clothes and leaves them on the floor, never puts anything away, and when i ask him to clean a little, i usually get something like "nah dude, i dont really care if its messy or not". is really embarrassing when you get people coming over on weekends and your room is so messy you cant open the door all the way.

8. hes selfish as hell. one time my mom was coming over to see the room early one sunday morning, so i asked him really nicely if hed mind not smoking in the room for at least the night before so it doesnt reek of week in the room, and he said fine. i come back at like 2 sunday morning and hes sitting on the couch smoking a bowl.

believe it or not, i could go on. i dont really have anyone to talk to about this besides my mom, cause he hangs out with all the people i hang out with, so i really needed to get that out.

so now onto the point. i need some ways of messing with him. nothing huge, just enough to get me satisfaction. if anyone has any ideas of funny stuff i could do, post them up. i dont want anything that would piss him off cause if would be kinda weird rooming with some kid that knows you dont like him.
 
that sucks but im really annoyed that you assume that all republicans are racists...? where the fuck did that notion come from? oh sorry i forgot im right leaning so i automatically hate negroes, wetbacks and faggots....no, not at all.
but really, thats enough annoying shit he does to the point where i would recommend asking for a transfer.
 
he obviously doesn't like you already.. i would just confront him. it would solve things much more effectively than playing tricks
 
get in his face and air it out if you've got real problems man. dont take shit and lay down some ground rules. messing with him is only gunna make it worse
 
so first off tell him that unless he is planning on paying for the couch, he can't sleep on it every night.

don't allow smoking in the room. (idk if you smoke).

put all of his trash on his desk if he leaves it everywhere. same with his clothes and such.

oh and have a talk with him telling him all of this.

this was me last year. i had the wierdest most annoying roomate ever.... I tried my hardest to just ignore him and chill with other people but he just kept finding his way into my life. Finally i just straight up told him i thought he was a fucking faggot and that no one liked him (which was pretty much true). I just blew the fuck up on him and he actually got the hint and for the rest of the year (3 months) we didn't talk, didn't chill, didn't do anything together.

but those were the 3 best months of college. - this might be a little bit of a different situation than yours, but it worked for me because my roomate was a legit WIERDO, so i honestly didn't care telling him to fuck off.

dude, i really dont have a problem with republicans. i have a problem with his type of republican. hes always referring to obama as "that dumb (n bomb)" and making bad black jokes about killing black people and really inappropriate shit. it really late and my brains pretty shot so im having a really hard time trying to get out what im thinking, but rest assured, i dont think all republicans are racist.

im fine with smoking, i smoke too, but there are times when you need to chill on it. like 12:30 on a wednesday and you have class in an hour, or when youre half a page into a 6 page research paper thats due in 2 days, or when your roomates mom is coming the next day.

oh and one more thing. hes not taking any hard classes at all. hes got a bunch of intro classes, no declared major, ive seen him do homework like twice this year. im a pre pharmacy student, so im usually swamped and off doing homework, so he just doesnt get the concept of not smoking and doing work.

My roommate is chill as hell...Just bought an xbox elite with MW2 and has been playing it non stop for about 5 hours now. He also supplied the fridge, microwave and a few other sick things in the room. Y

ou win some you lose some I guess...I am sure you'll get a sick roommate sometime in the future to make up for the shitty one.
 
That's definitely his business. Anything that impedes on you, you have a right to complain about. Him not doing his work is really his own problem and there's not much you can do about it.

be straight up with him. Start bringing girls back and slaying them late at night, pound them hard! make them scream! keep HIM up!! don't bitch about it to your mom and an online message board!
 
1. im not a pussy, im just not that aggressive of a person. some people think thats a good thing.

2. long story short, i live a 35 minute walk from where there are parties on campus, when i hook up with girls, its generally not in my room.

3. sorry i talk to my mom about my life, i didnt know thats not cool.
 
Definitely confront this guy about things in a nice but forceful manner, like, if x doesn't happen, then I'm going to do y. Let him know that he's being a total dick and you'd really appreciate it if he could respect your space by not leaving trash/dirty clothes/etc around the room. If he's only making his space a disaster and you can't stand his mess (which doesn't sound like the case), then ask for a room change (especially because you can say that your personalities don't mesh because his views are so radically different than your own). I know how shitty it is to live with awful roommates and the sooner you're out of your situation the better. I think if you just start reacting and messing with his stuff and bringing chicks home and keeping him up, it's just going to escalate, not help, the situation... and it makes you look bad to be bringing all kinds of different girls back and publicly hooking up with them, word gets out and then no smart girl is going to want to be another mark on your list of hook-ups.
 
Does he chew with his mouth open and shit too? If so, you probably have one of the MOST annoying roommates I have heard of. Sorry dude.

But like everyone else said, just confront him about it.
 
Whatever you do, dont confront him. Aggravate the situation by pissing him off in revenge, and then bottle up your anger and release it upon your close friends for no reason.
 
yea if you confront him, he doesnt seem to have the mental capacity to understand anyways, so dont even waste ur time..

dont get back at him, because he doesnt think hes doing anything to you, and if hes not dumb enough to realize youre fucking with his shit, then hes gonna be pissed and retaliate even worse. its a vicious cycle.
 
straight up confront him then when you request for a transfer you can say yes i have told him as opposed to them looking at you like a child
 
just give him a nice strong back hand then tell him to sit the fuck down, and shut the fuck up & listen. then explain everything, with a strong focus on maturity and respecting other peoples space and living quarters. basically treat him like the little kid that he is acting like, and maybe he'll get the picture.

that is not what he said at all. he is saying that his room mate is one of those glamorized "republican extremists" that are racist, red neck, etc
 
trust me, a good screaming fight between you and your roommate, or just calling him out is the best shit you can do. sitting back and being a vag about it only makes things worse.

My roommate is literally straight out of China. He doesn't speak english very well, smells like shit, yells in chinese on the phone and to him self constantly, wipes his ass and puts it in the trashcan, has shit everywhere in the room, shits with the door wide open, cockblocks so hard, is socially retarded, goes to bed at 8:30, and is a math genius.

It sounds like you are just being too anal about your roommate. If you don't like something you need to just call him out on it directly. Hinting at things is retarded.
 
sounds like my first roomate, but he was the biggest dealer on campus, so it was all good. haha.

my roomate now doesnt do dishes, and talks through movies, and thats about it. not too bad. but it still sucks after living with some of my best friends last year.
 
he said he was a "typical republican" because he calls obama a ni**er. he deffinetly was saying that all republicans are like that, but he cleared it up in his post anyways so dont worry about it.
