Brooksville is not that bad of an area, a bitch to get to, but anywhere downeast in Maine is. The coast of Maine is spectacular though! I've traveled it by boat and boy it's pretty. Definitely something to do if you can!

shit thats my uncles island ahaha. he was a european soccer player who nailed the shit outta the stock market he bought that island and i romped so hard on there. he had to sell it when the stock market dropped.
 
that's such a steal, i can find mediocre duplex's in downtown vancouver for 9.5 mil, that's a whole fucking island and looks like a bomb ass property, if i had that kind of money i'd buy it up in a heartbeat
 
funny thing is my dad showed me this today and was like how sweet would it be if we got this? cuz we need a new maine house. and hes actually serious. inb4 spoiled rich kid and all that shit.
 
my only real problem with this (other than the fact I just think you're trolling) is your use of the word NEED. why exactly do you "need a new maine house"?

remember, we live in a society of wants and needs. figuring out the difference between the two is one of the best things you can do for yourself.
 
so we have a place to stay near my grandmother who is nearing her end and my dad absolutely loves Maine and wants to keep a family house there but is also just one of those guys who goes for the best he can get. also b/c the whole family would use it but we just happen to be the wealthiest part of the family. not claiming. just explaining.
 
this. you don't need a new house. technically all you need is food, water and a cardboard box, but that's beside the point. It annoys me too when people can't figure out the difference between luxury and necessity.
 
Not trying to start an argument. but mostly everyone on this site has wayyy more then the necessity. also think about this. usually when people are wealthier and shit like that, they also give a shitload back.

I mean some people who make 50k a year, drive a 5 yr old toyota and donate like 2k. (just an example)

then some.(like my family) make millions. have 4 new cars. but also donate hundreds of thousands of dollars and much of their time. ( so why get mad at someone, born into this, b/c in reality they're helping out the world more.

maybe your family should spend more on your education than a private island in Maine.

It's not BAD to want things, it's not BAD to be rich and successful, but knowing the difference between WANT and NEED is very important to staying grounded.
 
nope. not gonna reply with either of that. i work for my education and have a partial scholarship.

i knew that my earlier response was gonna earn a reaction like this because i realized i shouldve worded it better.

and yes i fully agree with your last little blurb. I'm not saying we are definitely getting that house or even seriously interested but just because we want it, but is not a need, does not mean we cannot get it.

dont bring up this spoiled rich kid bull shit cuz it fucking pisses me off. id much rather be middle class so kids stop being like ohhh shit look at this pretty boy and his rich ass parents. im sorry. i didnt choose them.

sorry for ranting. its one of my closest friends would be birthdays had he not taken his life.

when people say the "need" something it can mean they need it to survive or they need it to achieve something. Like i need a car to get to school in under 40 minutes but i do not need it to survive i could take the two hour bus instead. In his case his family needs to buy a house in Maine in order to spend more time there without it being to inconvenient. NS over analysis this kinda shit all the time.
