I don't miss skiing anymore... am I broken?

I've had the same issue. Take up a new hobby you love/try out snowboarding. I think getting bored of skiing is usually due to lack of progression/a familiar scene or experience. Snowboard really helped me personally - you meet different people and can do new creative shit

I don't care as much about skiing. I picked up skating a few years ago and really like going out to the park whenever I can. I bought a guitar 2 years ago and play that almost every moment I'm home. I still like to get out on the mountain but i don't care as much. I had some killer days but I don't stress missing some. Things change and people evolve. Def recommend picking up something new or devoting more time to another hobby. Do whatever makes you happy.

I don't agree at all.

But that said one of my douchebag friends goaded me into day tripping Killington for a day in April and he doesn't have a license and it was fucking miserable overall. I had taken a late Alaska trip and ended up doing Tucks in May but I didn't need that day. Going further than Cannon or Waterville next year isn't a good idea you can't get hotels last minute anywhere anymore. I'm not a snow snob but I'll have to me more cognizant to avoid shitty situations especially if it involves flying and super pass shit or 4 hour drives.

During the winter skiing is all I can think about and I'll ski every chance I get. I do miss it in the off season but since I've found other activities that I like almost as much so I don't really get that empty feeling anymore where all I can think about is how much I want to ski.

Having a gf helps alot as well. But I used to get that empty feeling.

Was burned out for a bit and not excited a while back

Now biking seems cooler and less expensive. Biking just has so much more ease of access and is probably cheaper than skiing if you are looking at where/what you can do.

Still love skiing though, but less of the first snow stoke nowadays.

Kit and tickets being through the roof doesn't help especially as you get older

Ah, I mostly backcountry ski or get free pass from work though, so its not even that. my cost is effectively cheaper than biking (with bikes I go really really big into N+1 and its much more expensive)
