I designed a new concept layout for NS, matt, care to check it out?

Ok,

So I was at work, Thinking of ways to tie in this new tag art to a newschoolers.com layout. I know this site uses a crapload of php includes from a d-base which makes the layout hard to design. There is just so much content changing and referencing from different areas. So I started to design something, a template for the next generation of NS... Why some of you may ask, because I was bored at work and that I wanted to give Matt some options. Well, here is a screenshot of something that I made at work the the other day. Tell me what you guys think of this new layout, I have already developed the source code and template so all you would have to do is plug in any php references for the menus, content, online window, etc.

Well, enough babbling... Here is a screenshot.

As you can see, the colors have changed and it's a bit more edgy. Instead of hte collapsable menus that are here now, they load below on a mouseover. Kinda nifty, all can be controlled via php includes. The online window is to the left, as it always was however stands off of the content main table because of it's opposite color. Hope you all enjoy.

looks cool, i think we should keep the blue background on the page though... i've just gotten used to it over the years.

Another idea, you could pick your color scheme in your preferences! If you like blue you get blue, brown you get brown.

ahh yea i really like that design its real nice. I think you should make it blue or the color option thing would be real sweet, hah im just not to sure about the brown it reminds me of the old ugly 1080s they made for half a year

I love the brown way more than I like the blue. I am getting kinda sick of it, it would be really cool to have a major change. Matt... please consider it... PLEASE :-)

doesn't even look close to freeskionline.com.........unless you mean where the content loads...that is the only thing i see the same....and placement.....but design is totally different.

sick design, i like. up to harvey on it though. and the colorscheme option should be implanted no matter what....don't care what design you're using...color scheme selector would kick some ass....in fact a thread needs to be made to make it important.....im on it...

bro, the only way that this alyout looks anything like freeskionline is this:

1.where the content loads

2.how the Newschoolers.com section runs the whole page

and thats about it man....its a completely different design....your shits all rounded....his isn't....lots of things are different.....so shut the fuck up jeffy.......god damn....fuckin give him so credit, he jsut built up a layout for harvey so he could use that art.......and he did it jsut out of kindness and to shut you fucking bitches up who are bitching about that shit!......let harvey deal with it and quit bitchin.........thats not all directed to you jeffy...just needed to vent man.....fuck

Hey sorry for dissig on your layout, just that its matts site, and dude let him play with layouts....yah its cool to help and that alwayselcomed but if you owned and operated seomthgin you took pride in, you wouldnt be all that stoked to see people posting stuff on how to change it etc...see where im coming from...but yah sick otherwise

Maybe I'm just an old-timer, but I liked the site just the way it was. Change is inevitable, eh? But anyway, as long as the site changes are Harvey's decisions I am happy with it because he is the man and I respect his choices. And that's all I have to say about that.

Thanks for making a new layout OZ.. it's pretty smooth, but not exactly what we're going to be doing... the blue will soon be fixed (not completely removed, but definitelly made smoother)... I think everyone's going to like it.. here's hoping!
