I converted my Girlfriend from snowboarding to skiing in 3 days

hell yah, she has been snowboarding forever, took her to breck, a few days there and voila, when we got home she was interested in new ski equipment for xmas. we're going skiing in the morning ... word!

i'm not ususally one for skiing vs snowboarding bs, but i couldn't help but be a little stoked when i heard from a guy at my shop that snowboard sales were tanking this year. two of my friends went from snowboarding to skiing this year.
 
i'm not hating on snowboarding by any means... i was a snowboarder until 2 seasons ago. switching was the best decision ever. but i'm just amped on the fact that my girlfriend who has snowboarded for years got stoked on skiing after 3 short days in summit county.
 
i also converted my girlfriend, but she gets a lot of shit from the other snowboarders
 
If they rip, who cares what they ride.

My wife rips at snowboarding and I wouldn't want it any other way. the key is keeping up, cause when there is fresh pow you wait for nobody.
