alright had a previous thread about this, but wanted to make it cleaner.

i saw him walking around on the road out there at 5:30am. couldn't fucking believe it.

went out and brought him inside. it was -23c (-11f) with the windchill. wind was gusting up to 78km/h (49mph)

sat with him and watched predator while i fed him some pb/bread.

yea i have a soft spot for dogs. he is an old guy; looks like he has cataracts.

i took the dog back in the afternoon, i was waiting for the storm to settle down but it hasn't.

shoveled

myself out and walked the dog back to the guys house. missing tooth

old fuck answers the door and i tell him 'did you know your dog was

outside last night'

'where did you find it (dude said it)'

'i found it wandering around in the storm at 5am. when there is a storm could you keep your dog inside''

'mind your fucking business and get outta here'

shuts

the door before i can say anything. didn't even have the balls to look

at me in the eye when he told me to mind my business.

so AWESOME.

well when i go to work and its outside wandering around (weather is good) i go up to it but it lets out this weak bark like he's protecting his turf. decided not to try and pet it.

i knew when i went out there was a chance he would do the same..when i approached him he was a bit apprehensive but warms up to me when he realizes what i'm trying to do for him.

when i was sitting on the couch he would come up and sort of bow his head in between my legs wanting to be petted. something that my own dog does back at home.

I have a buddy in WA who saw his neighbors a few houses down beating the shit out of there dog and just doing some really mean shit to it. it was a pitbull and he thinks they where trying to get him to fight and shit. well he goes home and gets his 1911 and goes to the house and pulls the gun on them and takes the dog. cops show up at his house he tells them what went down, and goes on to say that these dip shits sell out of there house because they do. so the cop goes over to there house and busts them for that. got to love Karma.

really though, you should keep that dog, you're already a much better owner than him and its not even your dog..

call the cops, that animal neglect hell probs do some jailtime/pay out the ass to a lawyer. andd the dog will go to a better home.

also for whatever reason you were at 0/10, now its 10/10 for being a legit dude and helpin out a poor cold doggy

well done, a lot of people would leave it up to someone else.

a btw, i live in the mountains too, kinda small valley with good dump every once and a while. but i cant remember that much snow, like everythings covered that much, wow

I would say offer it hand directly from your hand. If you going to keep him. Just show signs of love and he should warm up quickly. My friend picked up a few strays, so I'm pretty use to them. Good luck man.

dude +karma for that. people are so fucking stupid, how could you ever do that to an animal especially a pet

yeah or call animal services seriously thats so mean how can you leave a dog outside all night in the freezing cold i feel so bad for him

you need to call animal control now.. you did help the dog, but it wont mean enough if the dog stays in that household..

they were not selling weed but coke and speed. if i had fuckers beating dogs on there front lawn and selling that shit where i lived i wouldn't give a shit.

seriously next time the dog's outside, go get him. I wouldn't leave him with an owner like that.

I agree with the liberation, but I think in this case, the death squads might be overkill. Just to clear up any confusion stemming from Drew's illustration.

if something like that happens again keep the dog. If the owner comes for him, tell him he was neglecting it, and if he calls the cops you have video evidence you protected that dog and that he was neglecting it. Also, if he treatens to take him back pull the video evidence and cop card on him. Dogs are too nice an animal to be treated that way

yea call animal control, they'll pick him up. And then two weeks later when no one comes in to adopt an old hairy dog they'll put him down. You guys really think they would even take the dog because it got out once? lol. There's nothing you can do. Chances are the dog's life is fine, probably just eats and sleeps all day. Sometimes my dog gets out(he's very crafty) and it's annoying as fuck when people take him home with them or some shit, granted it's never in a snowstorm...
