Salomons is skiings answer to natural selection. Dumont found out, and as the cockroach he is, he jumped to Head before he died. Clever move, dumont. Very clever indeed.
just out of curiosity, do u think that every member should make a forum in ski gabber every time thy buy a fucking piece of equipment asking if it was a good or bad choice...? do your research before you buy shit so u dont have to make pointless threads about it. fuck.
he went on a fucking rampage this morning, spreading his stupidity all over media and arts, it was horrible. thankfully though, i came to the rescue and shut his stupid ass up.
HONEST RESPONSEI bought Suspects when they had the plant designs.
PROS:
Best fucking ski I've ever ridden
They have great pop for jumps
Perfect flex
CONS:
I had incredibly bad chipping problems. They chipped about an inch in on both sides of the ski on both skis
I had 18 edge breaks in one season
Edge pull out after an urban season (Slide on rock)
Over all, I think they are an amazing ski if you don't ride rails really. I wouldn't pay full price for them again, but if you get a deal, I'd say go for it! I loved them when I had them
You had to pay for your skis? I figured for sure that you would be able to cop a free pair from all those pros you be filming, or sponsors for your movie right?
According to Mr Splice himself they are actually Threats, which are 10x shittier durability wise than Suspects. This small glimpse at their durability should keep you entertained, and as far as I know there have been no real improvements since their original model. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. http://www.backcountry.com/salomon-threat-ski-sal1484
honestly though, what was the point of making this thread? you ask if buying salomons was a good idea, yet you have already owned a pair prior to buying these ones. so why can't you just answer your own question like a big boy? it's probably because you're an attention grabbing whore, and nobody likes those.
Splice, I followed you on instagram a little while ago. Then you kept posting like 3 lame pictures per hour, so I unfollowed you. Just thought I'd let you know.
i think this is the first time frenchy and splice have met. lol
but really splice. please stahp. first you bought a camera, then asked for advice on it, now skis. why didnt you ask before you bought them? did you even do any research on them? are you aware there's a gear talk forum? seriously you dont need NS for everything.
and seeing you (splice, not frenchy) comment on all of steve stepp's pics on instagram is very annoying.
watching you guys loosen your but holes over a 12 year old kid that makes some threads and never delivers what he said he will makes me laugh really really hard. i mean for the love of god is their nothing better you could be doing with your lives?
