I am one with the gapers

As a boarder, I have always shyed away from skiing. If someone mentioned that I should go skiing, I said yeah right. I mean I have not skied in over 10 years.

But, last night that all changed. I put on those uncomfortable boots, stepped into my two planks (with very low din setting), and took to the slopes. It was a blast. By the end of the night I was catching wicked airs in Kidz X.

Now I have an new appriciation for the gaper. As a marketer it is very important for me to understand the innerworking of all facets of the market: snowboarder, skier, and gaper. Now I understand why they walk so slow down the stairs, why they stop in mid-stride while walking through the cafateria, and why they cut across take-offs and landing. It all makes so much sense now.

If you have not tried to cross over from boarding to skiing or vice versa, I highly reccomend it. It will put a smile on your face, becasue it is fun to be a beginner again.

i can feel that. i started snowboarding again after a similar 9 year break, and have ridden sideways the last four or five days... its fun to have so much progression in each day. that plus METHOD AIRS!

Yeah with the spring weather there is really no better time to switch it up...A big group of our friends all switched up, we had a blast, laughing and making fun of each other...doing stupid stuff and making fools of ourselves! you should give it a try
