God damn it!
i just got off the phone with the guys that remounted my skis to fit my brand new ft hot-doggers.
they said that they cant get the heel to click in because the rubber on the heel is a bit to big.
i just fucking spend a shit load of money on brand new gear and they dont go together?
this is bullshit.
is there any way that i can get this setup to work?

oh and im on lib-tech nas series

never heard of such a thing...go to another shop? a lot of shops dont know about full tilt because they are noobs

i absolutely love the skis they magnetraction works like a charm!

is there an insert that i need to take out of the heel of the boot to make this work? idk i just need a solution asap for a trip im taking wed.

If I were you I would ask another shop, not some random people over the internet. The shop your dealing with is probably ran by a bunch of gapers that can wax/ sharpen edges and that's it. You probably know a shop ran by passionate and experimented skiers so I would definatly try it.

go in and check out what the shop has to say, and if they are retarded just tell them to fuck off and go to another shop.

you should definately go to a different shop, they sound really stupid and will probably fuck up mounting your skis.

im agreeing with you. iv broken my markers so many times. on sunday i ripped the whole heel piece away from the base of the binding do a simple frontflip

idk man.. i've got some old marker comp 14 free bindings and they are sick.. and by old i mean circa 2007. they are bomb proof i swear. then again they have metal in them..

it should work just fine... i know some kids that have jesters/fulltilts
and I've mounted some jesters to EPs for hot doggers....it works

i have griffons and the same thing happened to me last week on my first day riding my new skis i was so pissed. i was on a rainbow box and this gaper lady just skiied right into the landing and i hit her and the binding just ripped off my ski and then my friend had to chase my ski down the mountain lolhe said it went off like 2 jumps before he got to it lol

i have konflicts and jesters and yes i found that they were a little difficult to click in, but i rounded out the rubber on the bottom edge of the boot and now it is fine.

INdeed sir! I would do it on a band saw , but whatever you have might work.....If you dont have a grinder and a band saw such as myself, I would take a hack saw and cut it down then buff and finish it with an aggressive file, and then some sandpaper possible.
And if you really want to, you could take the entire sole to a belt sander and take the whole sole down.

I hope I missed the sarcasm here because 2007 isnt old by any means. I am still rocking P 18s from 2002/2003 season

well lately it seems that marker has become synonymous with jester/griffon, just wanted to remind everyone that there ARE other awesome marker bindings out there

I still don't know if youre being sarcastic or not. Jesters are overhyped. Griffons are shit. 2007 isnt old. Did I miss some major sarcasm?

Yes you missed it... we're on the same page here man.. jesters are overhyped, griffons are shit and 2007 is not old. I suck at internet sarcasm I guess.

i had that same problem with my px12s and my bumble bees and it is caused by a rubber peice on the heel that sticks out a little bit, mine wore down from just kclicking in and out but if your boot doesn't fit then just sand it down

that shits bogus, i rock 2 pairs of jesters, and use full tilt boots. it's just a tight fit, which is a good fit. the rubber is hella grippy on full tilts, which would make it seem to catch. but it works. also, use the cheater method of screwing the foreward pressure in to flush while the boot is in. then just snap the boot in and out three times to make sure. you're not supposed to mount that way, but it works really well for tight fits. tell your tech to sober up.

Take to another shop I have mounted and adjusted dozens of FT's with Jesters and Griffons no problem at all. The forward pressure on the Royal Family series of bindings is totally different from that of all there other models which are horrible. Get your product and run if they say it will not work as they really have no idea how to adjust your bindings.
