I am extremely concerned

so i just got my GoPro HD helmet hero today. and when I plug it in to charge.. the light is flashing and wont charge my camera... does anyone know whats wrong?
and yes i did look at the instructions and it literally said nothing to help. I have googled it as well... someone please help!

make sure that the camera is off.

sounds to me like it is recording while you try to charge it, make sure it is off.

it is off.. but its not even like the full light is up... its a little dot in the middle flashing

u culd try taking the battery out and if that doesn't work take the sd card out

make sure the cord is fully pushed it. mine pissed me off at first too.
