today i was at work (local ski shop in central new york) and this guy, mike, who used to work there brought in his old gotama's which had been skiied once, they were mounted with marker 1800 bindings which were also brand new. heres how the conversation went.

me: dang those are sick

mike:300 bucks and they are yours

me: fuck no way!

mike: yup

me: hold on im callin my dad to get a check.

me:dad can i have 300 bucks to get a pair of brand new gotama's? since we are heading oput to crested butte on thursday?

dad: dont think so

me: please

dad: no

me(to mike): sorry man

mike: shit thats rough, peace

and a pair of brand new gotama's already mnounted to my boot sole length slipped through my fingers, shitttttttt
