I actually hated the film Parasite

Characters were hollow, weak, and acting was over the top. Poor people are denigrated. Theme: Poor people are usually ruthless and will kill rich person if they tell them they smell bad. Rich people are nice but have to stop being victims of poor peoples' thievery and parasitism. "Poor people... rise and kill rich people," "rich people stop being so nice and put poor people back in their place or they'll kill you."

Supposedly a good story about class warfare.

I know I couldn't have made a better film but who cares.

It was basically shit thrown on a wall that did not stick!

the best I can describe it as is lackluster
 
Personally I thought it was fantastic, the cinematography was amazing and the story really twisted and turned its way through keeping me invested. I think one of the big themes is that privilege and wealth can make it a lot easier to be kind and carefree. Being poor is stressful which has effects on your physical and mental health which can drive people to extremes. Trying to look at it as black and white as poor people are terrible parasites and the rich need to keep them down really misses the point.
