So im thinking the answer to this question is no....but after hyland closes this Sunday, will they keep stuff up? or will they tear it down right away? If they do leave it up, do they care if you hike it?

Again im sure this is a big no no bc its hyland, but thought id ask.

So who stays open later in the season? Who has cheaper late season tickets?

Haven't spent a winter in MN for a while, im in denial that spring riding doesn't exist and that i wont be able to ski through april

Thanks!

Well you got super park coming up and tyrol will be going on. Lutsen stays open till the second weekend in april or not longer. hopefully superhesh is happening this year too.

Im super stoked for Mountain Meltdown this year at Lutsen! Hopefully a bunch of skiers will be out there! If BNik's physical therapist gives the okay, he and I will be coming up for this

anyone know an officialish date for aftons closing? can't find anything on the website. also, is there any way to get a cheaper ticket?

anyone ski there during the day, may head down next week sometime if it stops raining

there is no official closing date for afton. they basically close when it's obvious that the season is over. i believe ticket prices drop when the runs start closing but don't quote me on that. they also always have an end of the season canned food day. you bring in canned food and you get some kinda discount.

i should be around next week if the weather isn't too bad. lemme know if ur coming dude!

one time we got pulled over for going the wrong way down a one way street. all i remember is allen screamin "i ain't goin back to prison!" then he shot the cop six times. we blamed it on some white suburban chick and layed low for awhile.
moral of the story: don't fuck with a ninja

FYI everyone just saw this on the hyland website:

3/10/10: Due

to weather conditions, Hyland Ski & Snowboard Area is currently

closed. It will reopen at 4:00 PM, March 11. Updates will be posted as

they become available.
