i think NS should have a moment of silence in tribute to the late Hunter S. Thompson, who committed suicide late Saturday night....may he finally be free of this earth.

he was never mayor or sherrif, he ran for sherriff but it never really was anything serious considering he had peyote on his flyers....and he didnt move to Aspen to retire from writing, he lived at his compound because he found peace there. He wrote a bunch of books up there, including some jsut recently. the word going around the valley here (im like twenty miuntes from his house) is that he put a gun in his mouth, and his last request was to have his remains shot out of a cannon. true hunter style....
