Any surfers around? haha not likely...

"A storm over the upper Great Lakes will continue to lash portions of the Upper Midwest and Great Lakes today through tonight with high winds and rain. Winds will cause chilly AccuWeather.com RealFeel® temperatures and damage due to toppled trees and power lines. Thousands across the region already had power cut Sunday. Other areas could experience power outages today. Winds will also whip the waters of the Great Lakes into a fury. Waves will be as high as 15 feet on Lake Michigan and over 20 feet on Lake Superior. Conditions will be dangerous for recreational boaters and commercial shipping."

Grand Haven Pier, not too far away from where I grew up.

Wish I could see that in person! That water level is usually like 6 feet below the pier, at least.

Holy Shit!! Im at school in Oshkosh Wisconsin and ive heard that people surf in Sheboygan which isnt too far away... the wave in the second pic looks absolutely brutal, such a sweet shot

Haha ya probably not too good for surfers. However, people surf all winter long on Lake Superior up in Marquette. They get the thickest wet suits you can buy and go out there during midwinter storms, the lake effect can bring in 10 ft+ rip curls.

i live in grand haven

people are trying to surf out there. i was just out watching them retawded fucked.

Seriously retarded.

I should have brought my jetboat out though and went wave jumping. I would have sunk it though, no question about it haha.

Where are you located at Tingas?

And ya that is weird Ace, I have met a few people from that area randomly on NS. I graduated in 2006, this is a screenname I've had for awhile. At MSU now.

Ah ok, I've never been over there. Been to quite a few other places in the UP but not there. Awesome place, love going to Marquette and Tech.
