Huge Trip to Aspen/Snowmass

I'm part of the ski club down at Ohio University and we take a annual trip out west every year. This year we are going to Aspen/Snowmass, staying on Snowmass. Our setup looks sick with ski-in/out accommodations right down to the gondola.

The reason I'm posting this on NS is because anyone can go. You do not have to be a OU student to go on this trip.

It is a sick deal, $600 in all and this includes, Transporatation there and back, 4 days of lift tickets to all of the resorts (Aspen, Snowmass, Buttermilk, & Aspen Highlands), and the 6 night stay at one of the best locations on the mountain.

We will be leaving from Ohio State's campus on Dec. 12, a Saturday, and would return the following Sunday the 20th.

if you read under the 420 it says that if you use our transportation (large 50 person tour buses) it will be another 180 which will add up to an even 600... 90 dollars each way for going to Colorado is a great price and we party all the way out there
 
we had a guy that was a senior (18) in high school last year... probably the youngest we can allow because of liability issues
 
if you let me sleep on your floor for the night ill drive from utah to ski with all the midwest homies. and by sleep i mean pass out hammered balck out drunk.
 
I would go, but I go to a community college that is still wrapping up classes that week of December. What time does OSU get out of College for Christmas break?

Dec 25th - January 3rd i am going out west with my girlfriend. But I would definitely hitup Aspen / Snowmass. I gotta start looking at the end of the semester when all the exams are now....

This is an awesome idea though. I wish more organized out-west trips were planned. Any spring break trip plans yet?
 
dude plan on it.... thursday would be the best because that night we have a party that consists of every room making there own drink and everyone going around trying each drink... you will probably be blacked out like half way through the party haha
 
This trip is a fucking deal. if anybody lookin to get out of ohio and get some good riding in, this is your ticket. The price is super legit...last year i just had my parents pay it and say it was my christmas and it was totally worth it. we left by 10 am and by 1015 we already had a power hour goin. From start to finish the trip is sick and it should be even better this year! PM me or mmessmer and we'll hook you up w/ more details (deposits, due dates, etc)
 
can i drive out from kansas city and ride with my ohio boys too? im only about 5hrs away from there. ill blackout in the tub? its my usual spot whenever theres no floor space haha.

 
haha first off there will be floor space... 2nd if you want to get there your self and not use our transportation then you get the 6 night stay and the skiing for $420 so hell yeah you can drive out there!
 
Make a spring break trip and I am down guys.

a spring break trip would be real sick... we usually don't take one but if i had enough people interested we may be able to put something together.
 
Heres the deal, I already have a 10 day trip planned to SLC like a week after your trip. And I finish winter semester during your trip (Exams)

If you ask me, anything more than going by yourself is cheaper. But if you plan a spring break trip, say Feb 27th to March 7th or whatever. Plan it somewhere awesome and cheap and I will go.

I can't believe your semester is done by that time...we aren't done until like the 15th or 17th of December.

 
hell yeah ill make the drive out, im only 5hrs away compared to driving 14hrs back to ohio to catch a bus haha. im for sure down for this so keep a 5'9 x 2ft spot on the floor open for me.
 
yeah OU is still on quarters so we get out for winter break right before thanksgiving and we dont go back to school until after new years. its pretty sweet haha
 
and for those of you that are 21+ or have a fake.. im turning 22 on the 6th so ill be celebrating its gonna be a shitshow so somebody needs to bring a camera to get some footage of tities and projectile vomit.
 
I went on this trip when I was in high school with my older brother and a few friends.... It was a REAL good time and more than worth it!
