I just hope for a foot, that way I can be pleasantly surprised when we get more. Hopefuly all of our base snow does not melt in the next few days, so we can really go ride pow.
what a joke, this storm wont be anything near that size. This storm is not going to carry in much moisture, it will just be very cold. Not really the kind of snow we need right now, we need lots of wet snow.
Regardless if it dumps or not it will be very cold. We've built enough base on open runs that the permanent fan towers can maintain what weve got already and keep expanding the parks. Nearly all the portable machines have been moved to the superpipe to take advantage of what could be an amazing early season cold period.
The storm itself will not have that much moisture. This guy probably has the most accurate weather report year after year when it comes to Tahoe. http://weather.porterstahoe.com/?p=551
