So Since I have no raw footage to practice with, I turned to Turbo for clips to use, and i was wondering if these show good editing or are so bad they shouldnt be associated with Turbo haha

I would take this edit down ASAP as alot of these shots are IN turbo so its copyrighted. And its not legal for you to rip them and post them up so people can watch the clips without buying the movie.

plenty of shots are on the web, and kyle decker himself, the man the myth the legend, saw it on facebook and didnt say anything about taking it down. Im not selling it, whats so bad?

Just sketchey man because those shots are not released for free and you just took alot of banger shots from turbo that nobody saw unless they purchased the movie.

your not really editing as far as im concerned....your taking pre-edited clips and making a new version of them, its like your taking a letter a rearanging the words, your not writing anything...

you're editing is pretty good. but no offense your song choices blew. i can't believe someone tried to mash that song up with seventeen years by ratatat. that was just gross. that being said. i thought the editing was pretty decent

I can't critique footage ive seen edited/is still partially edited by the original editor.

I agree 100% It's already been used its like a piece of art that has been created and your taking it and mixing up I really can't offer much, its hard to do.

Song sucks.Get your own clips! Just go out somewhere in your yard/city/town w/e and just pic a subject to film. it will show all of your work, not just editing. Because your edit all the filming and camera movements were already done for you, so you did maybe 25% of the work.
Sparknotes:Do it yourself and it shows you know how to really put some film together

I understand all your points and I know the editing in Turbo was way better, but for having no raw ski footage, I can't really shoot skiers right now, it helps to have clips that I can edit with

this. editing these clips all around just a dumb thing to. but the songs were bad and the way you "edited" it made it worse. theres no way your gonna edit professional clips and make it descent

yeah, really you only rearragned them... also, even if you completely re-edited them, i find that the shots and filming and such make a big difference in edits as well. even without the greatest editing, sick shots of twall killing it can still make your edit look pretty dope... so i think that your edits should be done all by you, not the guys over at level1. not to mention that its not cool stealing turbo clips like everyone else said...but about the editing only, naw it wasn't too great, not bad, but nothing special.
