1)norway--- Waay epic2) Europe---Epic3) America---banger intro amazing flow4) Team Down Under) ---i dont care what anyone says the music was innovative and dope nice change from mixtape after mix tape of lil weezy or biggie...skiing was amazing5) Canada---some shots were poorly captured in lighting6) Sweden --too much focus on wallride jibs under bridge 7) USA
 
Europe's video was by far the most impressive to me. Interesting song, a mixture of slow motion with real speed and remaps, stomped jumps and most importantly, super creative urban especially those pow tip taps and cargo container pretzels. SHIT WAS ILLLL.
 
sure down unders was different, but there is a line between different and terrible. down unders was the latter. i dont think i even finished the edit cause i got so damn bored. skiing is suppose to be exciting not make us yawn.

My Friend is a Pro!

America and Europe stood out because everyone hit the jumps, I like urban shots. They are creative, artistic, and tech. The urban from Henrik and Twall was amazing. So smooth from LOLO, and Dumont has really stepped up his game away from pipes....

based on the way the scoring was setup I think the judges got it right for the most part.

Based on stoke factor and how many times I will watch each one I would rank them as follows:

1. America - Only edit that wasnt obsessed with doubles. Best urban. Made me more stoked to ski than any other edit ever.

2. europe - epic. Henriks shifties. lolo's screamin cork 5s. Best editing

3. norway - Best shots. rediculous doubles. Not a huge fan of the song.

4. canada - Horse tow in, nuff said

5. usa - I really hope they go to joss next year

6. sweden - sick shots. song didnt really work with the edit and their style

7. down under - sick shots ruined by a crappy edit IMO

norway has by far the best filming, but i like america´s edit more cause of the music and intro...and europe: EPIC...music and slowmotions, skiing, e´dollo, everything!!

I probably wouldn't have put as much emphasis on the difficulty of the trick like they did. It's cool to see some doubles but when you have to fill an edit with doubles to win, it takes out of the overall stoke factor for the viewers. I think a video should be judged on the stoke factor... For example, when you buy a ski vid, you know it's good if you watch it over and over... and I don't like to watch doubles over and over.

1. America- so "hyphy". Most entertaining 6 minutes ever.

2. Euro- speechless. Lolo blew me away and HH isn't human

3. Norway- best cam work and the talent level is off the charts. Slow movie

4. Canada- creativity was insane.

5. Sweden- Shots were unique to the other vids and the red cam was sick. Was lacking... something

6. USA- lol appeal.

7. Down Under - couldn't decide if they wanted a ski vid or a spoof. a couple nasty shots in their video though.

 
Yep.

Norways was sick, but I liked how different Lolo and Henrik were, PK and Andreas were throwing pretty similar stuff it seemed.

Wouldn't we need to see the photos to truly rate them the way that the JOSS judges did? but based on video, I would say the judges did a good job.
 
funny how everyone is putting europe first..

but i totally agree with it i thought they should have taken it..
henrik was just insane..should have chose him jon hahaha..
 
Anyone who didn't pick Norway first doesn't appreciate editing/camera work. Their shots made Europe and the rest look plain and boring. Simply fantastic. I was really blown away. Obviously the experts judging the videos agreed with me, but I had to say it. Unreal.
