How would i do this effect

Hey newschoolers, Wondering if you guys could help me out? I'm doing a school project and i need to create a kind of spooky scene you could say. I'ts two people walking down a path with dense forest on each side. Now does anyone know an effect or a way of making this appear foggy or spooky? I'm not to sure what to do I have sony vegas and i've made it black and white but i want to make it seem more scary? Help me out guys it's due at the end of the week.

if you set up the contrasts and set the hue/saturation to a dark blue color with low saturation.. it would give it a colder feel to it seeing as you are adding fog. Also, you can get some ambient forest sounds with a wolf howling in the distance.

There's alot you can do.. check out some movies or some Supernatural/vampire diaries/Goosebumps as these kind of scenes appear often.

You could record somebody shouting BOO and have it on a loop so it says it every 2 secs. That would scare me

you can color correct it and give it a slight yellow tint. boost the contrasts by having darker black and mids with brighter highlights
