I'm just curious how well people get along with their parents. Also, inlude your age and if you still live with your 'rents or not. If not, has your relationship changed since you moved out?

i'm 16 and my parents are so chill, they support me in everything and they are big ski bums and my dad used to be a surf bum at pipeline.

my parents are cool. they'd kill me if they found out i party, but they let me do really dangerous stuff that some people's parents might think is crazy i.e. paragliding, cliff jumping, kayaking, driving those really fast go carts. They just tell me to be careful, because they are hippies. I know a lot of ppl's parents that wont let them do anything because they are so overprotective. 16/m

16, and my parents are cool for the most part, although my mom can be pretty uptight about some things, and is clinically depressed, so thats kinda hard, but i really have nothing to compalin about, im lucky for the most part.

16, and i get along fairly well with my dad.. he's cool. but my mom.... yeaah thats a different story. a five minute conversation between the two of us that doesn't result in screaming at eachother is pretty rare. But there are those few times where we get along. I've been making an effort to be more respectful, we'll see how it goes...

17, my dads my boss sooooo....haha no, me and my dad get along great, we ski together and now that im getting older we're getting closer its awesome. my mom is a little overprotective/pyscho, but i suppose after im away at college in the fall she'll calm down. hopefully

haha its so funny this was posted, i am usually soo cool with my parents like we get along great, but they decide all of a sudden to be total jerks today, like for no reason at all. now i only get three nights a week that i get to stay out after ten. like all of a sudden, im totally confused

Im 18/m I still live at home but Im soon moving out. I love my parents, they are the greatest. And to the kid with the mormon family, just tell your parents how you feel about it, if they are good parents at all they will be okay with it. I went through that when I was about 16, they were kind of bithes about it at first, but once they realized there wasn't anything they could do to change my mind, they just wanted what was best for me.

What's the deal with everyone giving me their sex?

I'm really surprised with the fact that so many people get along with their parents. I'm 23 and still living at home and I get along with them really well. Not so much when I was a teenager though. I ask because I'm finally moving out, and that makes me sad 'cause I'm spoiled rotten at home and that's going to change. I'm just thinking about how my relatoinship with my parents and my 6 year old sister will change when I leave. It can't get any better though, 'cause right now we get along really well.

I get along with my parents just fine. My dad is awesome and supports everything i do. My mom is slightly crazy, can't hear, can't see, has no common sense, but i still like her. They're both pretty cool as long as you dont piss them off, which i haven't done is quite a while. I get along a lot better now than i did when i was younger. I'm 16/m
