Just finished up this new edit from filming this past weekend. First off I know some of the audio is inconsistent because i forgot to turn my mic on for a run or two. Tell me what guys think and what I should improve on. Thanks!

That was really good man! Shots were interesting and I never got bored. Glidecam work was really good, nice and stable. Skiing was sick!

Things to work on:

Use some tripod shots to mix it up instead of all follow cams

Take out the old film effect, you're better than that

Colors and exposure was off, a bit too overexposed and WB was too warm i think. could have been better. CPL filter would work wonders for you

Audio sounded good except that deep wind noise at times, maybe try running a low pass filter (right term?) on it in the future to try and lower that.

Thanks! For the color i just used a grading preset in MBL called "epic" because i liked the whiter look and then didnt think it really needed to be tweaked but I think i got lazy with it. I will try better next time. With the audio sometimes if i use the low pass filter it will take out the oomf of the skier stomping the trick or on a rail so i tried to just turn down the sound for the most part but I did use it at times. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks again for the input! Much appreciated.
 
Two main things that bugged me were the shots of somewhat mediocre tricks (fall off rail early, straight slide etc) and the inconsistent audio. It was great to hear audio but it sucked when two good clips with audio were separated by one with zero skiing audio. Not that big of a deal but it just grinds my gears a little.
