I've seen napes uses a glidecam to film the pc edits. they look crisp as fuck. how does he do it? where do i grab my glide cam? are there any tricks im not picking up on?

SinceI had posted that thread Ben linked you to my jump follow cams and rail follows are much crisper, grip the shaft right below your gimbal with thumb index and middle, your handle should be to either side of the shaft you do not want it behind the camera out to the side makes it so your elbows are out creating more of a human spring and you can pan and maneuver the camera easier. What I found is that even with a fast drop time some wind will catch and pull the glidecam around and when I feel the pressure start in my glide fingers I put more the opposite way to compensate, when weighted properly I only lose framing when side tracking when it wants to pan on its own. Missed a few shots from it but figured out a trick. Look at your LCD about 15 feet from the feature as you approach frame them properly then forget your screen and look over your hot shoe mount directly down the lens and use that as your "gun sight" to keep them in frame. Matching speed by pizzaing will help alot as well.
