How to upload a video?

not sure if this has been brought up before, but when I try to upload a video it says choose a file, I select the file I want and then it says loading you upload, followed by a message that says finished, yet there is no where for me to view the video after this or finish the upload process. can anyone help?

You should be able to check it out on your my media page.

That being said, I look at your my media page and I don't see any videos which would lead me to believe the file failed?

If your actually uploading the file to NS and not just pasting a YouTube/Vimeo it takes about 15-20 minutes for the video to process and code. With that being said if you don't want to have this problem, just upload it to YouTube and paste the url

I dont think it is coding or doing anything after i select the file, it is a windows movie maker file so that's probably my first mistake lol, maybe I will try converting it to something else?

Yeah you need to export it as a movie file, not your project file.
