How to toss a Corked 3

Hi all,

I dont usually post stuff here, but i have to ask this question. This past weekend, I attempted throwing a corked 3 a few different times, but always ended up doin a 5 or 7, and flopping down.... Anywho, this question pertains to those of you who do throw corked 3's; exactly what do you drop, and how do u do it?

i tried them yesterday, i got slightly off axis but i wasnt happy with it, it just seemed like a normal 3

carve hard off the lip, tuck up almost before you get off the jump, and pull yourself around with your abs. also, more importantly, the reason you're going past 3 is because you're getting even more corked as you go from 180 to 360. One trick to avoid doing that is to get corked at 180 and then really concentrate on pointing your toes downward, around and towards the landing.

carve hard and pop. instead of looking over your left shoulder (if you spin left) try looking down under your armpit. it should feel similar to a loop if you are getting really corked.

Yea i tryed it like thorwing a corked 7 but alot slower and i die. Then i tryed doing a 3 but gorilla style i did go that corked. What did work though was a combonation of them both, tryed thowing it slightly down and then doing a spreeded grab.

i cant do em.. but.. i know it works.. if you carve hard.. tuck up.. rotate with the hips.. and def try throwing in an opposite safety grab, so yur pulling with the spin.. u can pull yurself out of cork almost... i SEEN IT! bittchhes!

yeah my first cork 3s were with mutes because the motion of grabbing down and across helps a lot to get u nasty.
