whats a good way to go about stretching xl tee shirts to make em tall? like a safe way so they dont end up torn or too tall on one part but not tall on another?

this thread is kind of stupid, but what the hell

pull it out of the wash and step on the bottom corners. pull up a little bit. not a lot. a little. then whip it a couple times so it doesnt look all stretched out. hang dry.

the only reason i wanted to know is for some tees that are kinda fat (atmosphere tees) and i want them to actually be a normal size not necessarily tall. and yes i could go buy tall tees. but thats not what i need. sorry if my first post threw people off.

grab the shirt under the sleeves and put that part in your right hand. then take the bottom part and grab that with your left hand. then hold your right hand in the air next to your head. then take your left hand, put it next to your left hip so that the shirt is across your back. pull from both sides. (works best when shirt is wet)

get the shirt wet, then use a clothes hanger with clips or a metal rod and a brick like shown

adds about 4-8 inches depending on what material and size shirt

this can be of practical use outside of making regular shirts tall, although that's an added bonus. i've had my fair share of shirts shrink in the wash and i'm a pretty tall guy so i have to stretch some of my shirts so that they'll even fit normally. usually this is a two man job: i fold the shirt in half lengthwise, then get my brother on one end and me on the other. another technique is wedging one side of the shirt in the top part of a door, closing the door, then pulling on the other end.

I have posted this picture of myself, but I have found it to be among the most effective.

i find it hilarious that the current style in skiing is to wear shirts so big that you actually look like you are wearing a dress.

Step 1: Put your tee on.

Step 2: Go into shower with tee on.

Step 3: Step on your tee with it on 1-5 mins .

Step 4: Dry your tee and your ready to go.

do NOT try this with a Voleurz T. at least not one with a big print on it.

I did it last night, it was stretched for a couple hours but then shrunk back to its normal size but the big Printed V on it stayed stretched and now its wrinkled up.

just a head up

learned lesson: I should have just waited to find a XXL instead of XL

1) tuck t-shirt into pants.

2) fasten belt reallllllllly tight.

3) do stretches.

4) tie not required, but bones points will be awarded for tie wearing.

what i do is yank it outta the wash right after it get's done, fold it so the bottom is all uniform, step on the bottom and pull up by the top (but so only the abdomen part strectches) then shake it out and hang dry. throw it in the dryer after so it doesn't look all stretched and wrinkled, good as shit.

Take the shirt and put it on top of a door and close the door on the shirt and pull it slowly out.

(Sometimes the shirt will come out with little resistance and wont stretch, just put it in again and try again.)
