How to store brand new skis?

I got a pair of skis as a gift that are too long for me but hopefully I’ll be able to grow into them next season. I was wondering what would be the best way to store them?

Best to keep them in the wrapper, laid flat if they’re out the wrapper to keep dust from getting on the bases, in a temperate spot. Avoid putting them near radiators or heaters. The material expansion & contraction of heating isn’t great for delam. Under your bed is usually a good spot to keep them out the way.
