how to stop over-rotating

Here's my problem: whenever learning a new trick i ALWAYS over-rotate. It's like i see the landing after i'm done and i have a bit of air left i can't just make my body stop. How do yall do that, other than practice?

just try to slow it down a little more maybe, but that comes only with practice...

try and spot your landing as early as possible...that way you will know if you have to slow down or speed up your rotation sooner. like on a back flip...as soon as you through it you should be able to spot your landing.

good point there, as well as trying to seped the rotation up spotting ur landing early slows or speeeds up ur rotation automaticly, u dont need to do anything but stay balenced and stop ur landing early, as early as possible

open up...whether it be ur legs or arms it slows u down mass either that or master the art of landing switch so when u over rotate u can do that

what pretty much everybody else said. PRACTICE. Also i feel that whenever i grab or bio, it helps me spin and gives me better balance in the air(not the bio). Also, ease up a bit on the torque, and instead of trying that same trick over and pver again, just try some spinning, or simple grabs, so u'll feel a bit more comfortable, and ure timing will be a lot better.
