How to repair ski pants

Hey NS, does anyone have any experience in repairing gore-tex ski pants?

They are insulated and the down is exposed but the tear hasn’t gone through all the layers in the pants.

Would a patch of some sort be sufficient? Would this also apply to the snow boot cut repair?

ttape is the move 100%. i was just thinking that if you have the ability, sewing the sticky patch on would work really well. i’ve had ttape patches come off after a few washes before on pants

To be honest if the patch comes off after a few washes I wouldn’t be too bothered due to the price of them being relatively cheap.

The glue gets all over your needle and thread it doesn’t work very well unfortunately
