So i slide a rail and got a tear on my coat. Im going to sew up the rip but i also think a patch will work. Anyone know where i can acquire yellow ski jacket materail and how to apply it?

help MUCH appreciated.

i don't own FD, but i do have a nice Goretex coat that got ripped on a lead fall while climbing, outdoor sports sell repair kits for stuff like that basically you have some kind of glue and you hold together the tear, then apply a strip of fabric over it with the glue and another one on the inside and the jacket is bombproof once again!

also, dunno where the tear is but on my jacket it was on the back and i fixed it with black fabric on a red jacket and it looks kinda artsy/badass now :)
i think black on yellow would work too !
probably even gonna look better than finding a similar shade of yellow that's always gonna be a bit off ...

i remember something on ns or the first drop site that said something along the lines of if your jacket has damage to it first drop will repair it but you will have to paylook around the first drop site and see what you find

Dumb fuck your a scammer so shut the fuck up. also he was asking the best way to fix it, besides a quick stitch, learn to read idiot

There is no way to fix it easily, besides a stitch. He ultrasonically weld a patch on, but i think thats a far cry from easy.

I destroyed the sleeve of my jacket on a tree, huge rips, and I fixed it with black gorilla tape(beefy as hell). I cut the tape in half width-wise and taped in on the inside. Put the tape in the tear, stick half on one side, and bring the other side flush with it. It's been holding up just fine, not too noticeable. Good luck man
