How to post news in a cult?

Hi, I just started a cult (linked in sig) but there seems to be no button to post news. Is this correct?

Yeah sorry, cult news is actually being retired so we removed the ability to post more in it.

Cool concept, huge lack of interest.

Cults are going to be simplified back into forums only so in a few months none of the rest of the parts of cults will work.

Yeah..... I'm afraid the cults aren't doing that well.

I think they need more exposure.. like on someone's profile page, it could say what cults to which they belong. I mean, there must be good content being posted in the cults, that never reaches Ski Gabber or the other forums, and your average user never realizes it.

They need to work on mobile.

Its on a long list of improvements. IF we manage to bring them back, it would be in drastically simplified format.

Facebook groups really hurt Cults.
 
Yeah nice, even having a "feed of feeds" would be interesting - just aggregating all feed posts into a single stream. Not sure how used it would be, but it would show some life when someone gets to the cults homepage.

Thats called facebook, which is why cults died.

Yep.

We tried to add stuff like this but Facebook and other social media had massive venture capital funded development budgets and they did it better.
 
Yeah, even just a "view public cults" link would work, because it's just a waste to scroll through the open cults and not even be able to view the content because they're all closed.

Also, for very inactive cults, do users get notified of new content if it hasn't had a new thread for say 4 months?

FB killed a lot of sites.

They can be accessed via mobile with a direct link, but since the cults are not mobile friendly I would avoid it.
