How to NOT break my brakes -_-

I need help.

Cant land switch without breaking my brakes (exept on small jumps) Do you guys have so advices for me ?
 
Your brakes might be too wide or hang down too low. Bring them into a shop and they'll bend them for you. You could do it yourself but it's a little risky. I snapped my brakes the first time I tried. There's a video somewhere on here showing how to do it.

Squires ... unfortunatly -_- Im riding my seconds skis right now to pratice my 5 (with tyrolia bindings, no problem with them, but its coreupt skis, i dont like them).

Im thinking about buying axials though ...

Seems like a nice idea ! Thanks ,, but im not sur any places around here would do it .... I already talk about my problem at the shop and they just told me to buy axials..

good point, forgot to add you should have somebody at your local ski shop do it
 
I dont think they will agree to put it tighter than it is (cause insurance i think ? they told me once that I had to do it myself if I want it really tight).

you're in quebec yeah? Paul at Austrian in Montreal would probably bend them for you if you asked. Give him a call and ask beforehand though

I have squires too and I've broke my brakes a few times, I learned that I need to land perfectly switch cause if I land a bit toe heavy they'll catch and snap off. I brought it onto the repair shop and they said that I'm lucky my legs aren't broken cause my din was so high that my skis wouldn't come off haha

Still breaking brakes with the din that high ?

Since I bended them a little last week, I didnt break any but still Im stress out each time I land switch.

Squires sucks.

Yeah squires are shit, I think on my new skis I'm either gonna get look pivot, rossi fks, or griffins. Don't be scared about landing switch, just throw down sick tricks. Land level and your brakes are fine! What kind of skis do you have?

I will probably do the same ,... I ride K2 sights.

Im affraid only cause I dont have 100$ a years to put on damn brakes -_- but since I didnt break any this week its getting better. Didnt do any 540 though ... Will see.
