Is there a difference in the way you mount your binding on twin tips than tradtional skis? If so what is it.

I am just currious if anyone knows if you mount them back, center, or in the front of the center the ski? I am asking because i can get a the mounting for free but the guy isn't sure if you mount twins the same as traditional skis.

there should be a line on the ski that shows where the center mark on the boot should be when the bindings are on.

same as regular skis.

dude, one time, I snorted ketchup off of a pizza. that sucked.

Oh yeah, republicans suck, you right winged conservative bastards, have fun burning in hell!!!!

most skis have the markings...certain skis, like last years lines are center mounted

Why do you guys say, 'I have to take a shit' when you just leave it there?' JF learning english

Center but supposedly Elan copywrited the center mounting or something like that. I forget where i heard that.

how can u copyright where a binding is placed? thats like copyrighting the right to use a sidewall cap. thats stupid. and the skis show a line where u mount it. its usually at the narrowest part of the ski

center it. this is too pull off tricks more easily and get you balanced on rails.

you go by the marking on the ski. if you dont use the marking, the sidecut will be off and that isnt good

Yup go with the line. That's usually the balance center of the ski (you can usually balance the ski with one finger under that line) That spot should be the centered between the two parts of the binding. Some skis such as the k2 enemy's have a line that says 'toe' beside it...the toe of the binding should be directly above it.

If you don't know how to mount bindings...i'd REEEEALLY recomend you get a shop to do it...you can fuck up your ski pretty easily.

Well, if you want to ride strictly park, and be a little parkrat who cant carve a turn to save his ass, yeah, go for the center mount

If you want to ski the park and still take your skis out onto the slopes, like any good skier will, get the bindings mounted back a bit. that's how i have em on my 1080s, and it works great. my friend uses the same thing on his Cusson's. well, peace out

I think that having them center mounted helps sliding rails landing switch taking switch and i think that i can carve a hell of a lot better w/ the binding in the middle on my 1260s its also the way you like to ride... although centermount sux ass for powder mostly deep powder that is

Peace
